Young Person's Tour of the Instruments at Fenton House

A special tour with a hands-on approach, focussing on how the different types of early keyboard instruments work and what distinguishes them from their modern counterparts. Young people will experience the sound of harpsichords, virginals, spinets, clavichords and early pianos, hear music that was written with these instruments in mind, and learn about how to care for these rare and valuable objects.
