200,000 Royal Welsh visitors offered Anglo-Welsh online booking

For the first time ever visitors to the prestigious Royal Welsh Show are being offered the opportunity to buy their tickets in advance in English or Welsh. The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society who organise the renowned rural show, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, are using the Internet-delivered ticketingsolutions system to sell advance tickets and show programmes directly from their website www.rwas.co.uk allowing visitors to simply select the language of their choice for their online purchase.

The Show, which will take place from the 24th-27th July at the Llanelwedd Showground, is expected to attract over 200,000 visitors across four days. Visitors can buy their tickets in advance quickly and easily both online or over the phone using the ticketingsolutions system and the Show organisers then print the tickets directly from the system to post out to customers.

Arwyn Williams, Marketing Executive atthe Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, says, "we have already seen a significant increase in ticket sales this year thanks to the ticketingsolutions system. Selling tickets in advance online not only offers a convenient service to visitors, it also cuts queue times on the day and eases the pressure on our staff at the ticket office and on the gates. What's more, being able to sell in both Welsh and English is a real bonus for us".

Matthew Hare, Managing Director of ts.com, who provide the ticketingsolutions system, adds, "there are many advantages to ticketingsolutions, not least of all its ability to reliably handle all types of ticket sales for a large-scale event such as this. With multi-lingual capability, live ticket sales reporting and additional inbuilt tools for eMarketing and SMS marketing, ticketingsolutions is a complete system for events organisers".
