New look drives growth of online carpark sales at the Peel Airports

September 2008: Travellers using Liverpool John Lennon Airport this summer will have experienced a new feel to online carpark booking following the introduction of e-park, the new online booking process provided by ts.com.   Peel Airports have been using ts.com to provide their online carpark booking for over four years, and have recently renewed this contract following a competitive tender process. 

The new look online car park booking system is attractive to look at, being closely branded to match the main airport website and is more intuitive for people to use, displaying twin calendars and a simpler booking process.   The changes have had a noticeable impact on sales as there was an immediate uplift in premium space occupancy after the refresh was launched.

The new look carparking solution uses cascading style sheets to closely match the look and feel of the individual airport’s websites.  As the ts.com system is fully integrated into the carpark access control equipment, the customer simply has to use the credit card they made the booking with to enter the carpark, ensuring a seamless customer experience from booking to arrival.
