Client Support and Training Specialist

With a range of solutions from self-service to full service, we offer differentiated support based on the product to each client. We support products that we develop in house and developed by third parties, and for most clients, are their first point of contact for all of their ticketing, sales and marketing solutions.


The role:

We are currently looking for a Customer Support and Training Specialist to join our busy client services team. The successful candidate will implement application training, provide pre-sales support to our sales team and provide ongoing client support post go-live.

The Customer Support and Training Specialist will also provide support to our Client Service Account Managers by responding to client queries, analysing and resolving customer problems, and providing a link between the client and the Development department. The successful applicant will also be responsible for driving repeat business by creating and developing long-term relationships with clients.

The role will involve working one weekend in 4 on an “On Call” basis between 10am and 8pm, and a shift rota between 8am and 8pm weekdays. The role requires a willingness to travel around the UK.

You will like working with people, and won’t be worried by having to visit our clients and staying overnight to help them get the right result. You will be looking for variety, and pride yourself on thinking through and coming up with appropriate solutions to swiftly solve client challenges and problems.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and to work using own initiative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role essential
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience of Internet-based services and office applications
  • Previous training experience, preferably in a software environment
  • Pre-sales experience is desirable
  • Experience in on-site application support would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of database application would be an advantage
  • Previous operational experience in the entertainment, sports or travel industries is desirable
